CULTURAL REWILDING presents a 34.2 meters circle surrounded by an increasingly wild nature. The circle breaks with the rectangular patterns of the agricultural fields in which it is located as an act that symbolizes a new approach of living no longer as humans hosting nature as part of their civilization but as nature becoming the host of a more ecological humanity.
In this sense the circle represent a hunter-gatherer encampment where life is fully celebrated with dances and storytelling and the sharing that characterized the now extinct indigenous tribes that so successfully inhabited the planet for over 200.000 years compared to the few hundred years in which civilization played a very destructive role. Shortly visitors to the circle will be able to retrieve audio files taken from first-hand accounts relating on the life of hunter-gatherers.
