CULTURAL REWILDING's author Alberto Frigo Cana (1979) was born in the Italian alps. While studying at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, Frigo began to film his life 24/7. Using 18mm cameras he documented his whereabouts among the homeless community before departing for a road trip across the Americas with a self-tailored poncho serving him as both an hammock and a set of pockets to carry his diaries. Back in Europe Frigo began to document his life using digital equipment. resulting in his life-project 2004-2040. In the alps Frigo runs ARTE MESO a 3 kilometers art route promoting a more indigenous culture.
